Meet Chance Everett

Last year I had the opportunity to do team photographs for the junior Owasso Football team.  It was so fun to watch these little guys tackle and run the football, and they did a great job.  This is where I met Mandi Everett which is the mom of Chase  (one of the football players).  Here are a few of Chase…

Well Mandi contacted me in December last year to ask if I would do some portraits of her older son Chance. He is an avid hunter and she wanted me to capture him in his element and last weekend I got the chance to do this shoot.  I had a great time and Chance and this 9 year old is quite the hunter.  Not only is he good with a gun and bow but his sense of direction is empecable. A few times I was worried that we were surely going to get lost but he kept on assuring me he knew where he was going…..and he was right:)

Well I am so happy I got to do this shoot.  Thanks Mandi and Chance!

Happy Friday the 13th :)

Shelton Boys

Just before Christmas this year, Monica (Ayden’s other teacher) asked me if it was possible to get a shot of her three boys imitating the Beastie Boys Album ‘Check your head’.  For those of you who don’t know Monica, she is one of the most genuine, nicest people you will ever meet, and another important figure in Ayden’s life. She was Ayden’s first teacher at Battle Creek and now works with Christine at her home day care.  We are truly lucky to have so many great people around Ayden all the time.  Well Monica and her husband Shawn are HUGE Beastie Boys fans and she wanted to give Shawn a very special Christmas present this year!  So of course I was so excited to try and do this, and I am really pleased how it came out.  Her three boys are such cool guys and they did a great job and imitated the Beastie Boys.   Take a look.

Davis Family 2011

As with every holiday season, Trischa and I go back to the Bahamas to spend Christmas and New Years.  This year we left the day after Christmas and stayed until New Years Day.  I always love going home to visit friends and family and this year was Kai’s first trip to his Dad’s home country.  You might remember the Davis family from previous posts, but for those who don’t know, Alexandrea is one of my best friends and we grew up together practically as siblings.  Alexandrea and Danny also welcomed a new edition to their family this year and this precious cute guy is named Caleb.  Alexandrea had asked us over to spend an afternoon at their house and so naturally we decided to do a few photos:) Alexandrea also loves photography and does really good work herself, and so we had her do a few pics for us. She took some pics of us that we absolutely love and I will post them later.  Alexandrea and Danny’s two boys are absolutely adorable and they will surely be great friends and playmates with our two boys…….in fact Nicholas and Ayden already are (as you can see).  Well I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and I hope God grants us all a year full of good health and prosperity.
