A Star Wars Birthday

My little Jedi is now 4 years old and I can’t believe how the time has flown by.  We went ‘all out’ for this Star Wars themed party and even had my mom and dad up late making tissue paper “death stars” to hang for the party!  Ayden had a blast on the Bouncy Castle and dueling his friends in light saber battles.  Cari Ditty from Royally Iced made the Star Wars birthday cake and Vader Cake Pops. She is awesome! Check out her work at www.facebook.com/Royally.Iced . Ayden was so excited when he saw the cake!  It was delicious!  My wife used Etsy for the birthday banner, t-shirts, cape, party bags, baby’s yoda hat, and Darth Vader lego decal…. and as you can see we named all the food in Star Wars themes.  Arlene’s famous chicken salad was “Chewbacca Chow,” Rolls – “C3PO Dough,” her spinach dip – “The Falcon Ship Dip,” Cheese Pizza – “Skywalker Cheese,” Supreme Pizza – “Pizza the Hut,” Peperroni Pizza – “Galactic Pizza,” Chick-Fil-A nuggets “Ewok Balls” (guess who named these?!), and Pecan Swirls – “Princess Leia Buns.”   The naming took hours of Pinterest work on my wife’s part!  All that being said we all had a great time and I hope that Ayden will have memories of these fun times.
