Here is sweet baby Lane. A few weeks back, after the birth of Whitney and Zack’s first baby boy……Whit asked me if I would do a shoot that chronicles the first year of his life. Of course I was ecstatic and said yes, and Sunday was the first shoot of four. Whitney was my wife’s room-mate through college and she is a very special friend to both of us. If you remember I did her Bridal shoot about a year ago and she looked amazing! Lane is one of the cuttest baby boys that I have seen and I had a great time vistitng them all in Norman on Sunday. Also Zoee (who is Zack’s daugher) was super cool and helpful, and I also took a few pics of her (check back later). Here is just a sneak peak….. but I have so many more good ones to share, so stop back for more. I hope they like them.

A Very Important Wedding…..

I wanted to add a post in honor of my brother’s wedding, which is coming up on September 4th. Its going to be in Virginia (his fiance’s home town) and I am really excited and can’t wait. I am the best man so I wont be able to take any pics, but I am sure the wifey will take lots…….so stay tuned for posts of the wedding. I am so happy for him, and he is marrying a wonderful lady named Andrea……but we all call her Drea for short. I was happy when they asked me about 2 years ago to do their engagement shoot….so that is why I wanted to post a couple of my favs from back then. Ayden will also be walking in the wedding with Drea’s niece Stella………..I am just crossing my fingers that he will actually walk and keep his clothes on. Stella’s mom (Jenny) is also a photographer in Richmond, but they will be moving to Seattle very soon for her husband’s job. Organic Cupcakes, Made with Love

The wife is on a kick of buying organic and her most recent cooking project was her organic cupcakes, made with Almond Milk (interesting). Ayden is a “Big Helper” as usual and joined in to whip up the icing. He soon discovered the rewards of helping Mom cook. He got to lick the beaters.

Sorry for the long absence, but between multiple summer vacations and re-painting the inside of our house I guess I got a little busy and neglected my blog……… But not to worry…..I am back now……. Today I managed to snap a few shots of Ayden helping Trischa in her flower garden. Well he thought he was helping but he was actually just pulling off flowers and digging up mulch……but cute none-the-less. Check out the last pic………CAUGHT IN THE ACT!

Happy 4th of July

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July! It is also my mother and law’s birthday! So we went over to the in-laws house for cake and fireworks! Anyway…..here is miss Carmen Dohlman in her patriotic attire for her 3 month pics. For this shoot we decided it would be the dads turn (since it was close to fathers day). It was a great shoot and Katelyn was so proud of her dress. We came up with the idea to use some sparklers for the pics and Katelyn got really excited about the idea….but as soon as we got them lit she quickly changed her mind on holding them. At least we don’t have to worry about her playing with fire. Here are a few of my favs.

Did I mention that my son loves Toy Story? Yep….I think I did. Here are a few shots of Mr. Ayden with Woody and Buzz playing in the backyard. We actually took him to his first movie last weekend…….and guess what we saw……..yep you’re right…..Toy Story 3. So here they are saving the world.

Here are some of my favorites of Carmen Dohlman in month 2 of her life. She was so cooperative which made the shoot really easy and fun. You can see at the end that Katelyn was really excited to show off her princess dress…..what a cute bunch of girls.
